For the doctors still becoming
Our work focuses on providing financial assistance, mental health support, and career guidance to Nigerian medical and dental students.

Why we exist
Talent should not be lost to a fee, a crisis, or the quiet weight of carrying too much alone.
Medical school asks for years of discipline. We make sure a difficult season does not erase a student’s future.
The work
Three connected forms of support, built to protect the student as well as the future professional they are working to become.
Scholarships, bursaries and targeted grants for tuition, examinations, books, equipment and other essential educational costs.

See how we helpComing soon
We are building funded access to qualified independent counsellors, clinical psychologists, and psychiatrists for Nigerian medical and dental students. Students will not need to tell the Foundation what they are going through; clinical conversations and records will remain with the professional providing their care.

The life behind the name
Dr. Femi Rotifa was a surgery resident at Rivers State University Teaching Hospital and the 35th President of the Port Harcourt University Medical Students’ Association.
Remembered by his community for diligence, passion, excellence and a generous instinct to help.
His death while at the hospital in September 2025 prompted grief across Nigeria’s medical community and renewed urgent conversations about the conditions in which young doctors serve. This Foundation chooses to answer loss with sustained care.
